In litigation, when our clients face a cross-border dispute, we represent them and defend their interests with conviction in the context of arbitral proceedings This dual capacity (advisory and litigation) makes our interventions particularly credible and effective.

Citizen Consult intervenes exclusively in cross-border disputes. We regularly represent clients, Mauritian or foreign, involved in matters falling within the jurisdiction of arbitral tribunals.

International arbitration is a specific mode of dispute resolution involving cross-border interests or parties of different nationalities, by which the parties submit their dispute to one or more private arbitrator(s), rather than to a state court. Arbitration is characterised by its flexibility, efficiency, confidentiality, the independence of arbitrators, the technicality of procedures, and the binding authority of the arbitral award, which can be executed in most countries thanks to international conventions.
